Grace's FABULOUS 8th birthday. October 8th.

For Gracie's 8th party we held a carnival. We had lots of game booths complete with prizes. Everything from balloon darts, sling shot the tin cans, penny pitch, water gun the ping pong balls, etc. We also had other stations where you basically could get things to eat. We had our hot dog man, Steve, and snow cone girl, Lorna. Carol served up cotton candy. We also had pop corn. The kids were given tickets that they could "buy" stuff or play games. Both Grandma's manned booths. Becky and June also helped. We also had a balloon guy come that could do a million super cool balloons and a girl that was an awesome face painter. It was a lot of fun.

Some of Gracie's friends with their faces paintings and balloons.

These were super easy cupcakes to make and they look so festive.
The balloon guy made Gracie a carousel to go along with her carnival theme. It was so intricate. There were all different animals. The two pics show an elephant and a horse. He was incredible.

The sweetest birthday girl ever.
She's also a clown at heart.

Gabe dressed up as a clown and getting some action with the cotton candy.

Carol saved the day not only by sacrificing her body to be covered in sugar but by running the broken cotton candy machine to Springville to exchange it for another one that worked. She's my hero!

Mom tastes so sweet, I think I'll lick her.

Dylan, I mean Spidey!

Maxx, the Great Pumpkin.
Eli is a fishbowl. Glub, glub.

Libby's face painting was one of my favorites. I was sad the picture turned out blurry. It was a cool ocean scene with a beach, palm trees, sunset, etc. So cool!

HELP!! HELP!! THERE IS AN ALIEN ON MY BACK!!!

Snow Cone?

Cute Audrey refused to have her face painted but loved the cotton candy.

That was one over the top party Lorna. Glad I have kids your kids' age so they can enjoy the fruits of your labor.
